One10 Team

Our Story

At One10, we see that a better world is possible if we are able to harness the power of business for good. It was this core conviction that motivated Geoff Gourley, our Founder, to become a Centre for Sustainability Leadership Fellow back in 2008. Geoff’s CSL Fellowship idea was to create an accessible and transformative social enterprise accelerator and consultancy to empower socially-conscious innovators. He led the project development to become a finalist in the ASSOB and Victorian Government’s Pitch Competition in 2008. Since then, the concept for One10 has undergone intensive development and refinement, and One10 was officially founded in 2015.

More recently Geoff was acknowledged by Social Enablers in the Top 100 Social Entrepreneurs & Innovators around the world.

Alongside the launch of his Impact Investment Fund, Geoff recruited an energetic and capable team to help him grow the capacity of One10 and enable more innovators and change-makers to create positive social and environmental impact. Since One10’s launch in December 2015, our team has expanded to include 10 members across our offices. We have nurtured exciting core partnerships and collaborations, and are seeing promising traction for our many Social Enterprise, Social Benefit Suppliers, Not-for-Profit and Corporate clients .

We are supporting and enabling purpose-driven people to create positive impact – and we’re always looking for bright and motivated people to join us on our journey.

Our Values

United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)

Through our Founders past experience, as a Board Director of the United Nations Association of Australia (UNAA), One10 Group has adopted the use of the Sustainable Development Goals #GlobalGoals, in aligning our education and investment focus to actively seek to support ventures & investments across all 17 Goals. We also support our clients to align their activities to the SDG’s.

17 Goals to Transform Our World

In 2015, countries adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and its 17 Sustainable Development Goals. In 2016, the Paris Agreement on climate change entered into force, addressing the need to limit the rise of global temperatures.

Governments, businesses and civil society together with the United Nations are mobilising efforts to achieve the Sustainable Development Agenda by 2030. Universal, inclusive and indivisible, the Agenda calls for action by all countries to improve the lives of people everywhere.

You can view each goal here.
