Hey, thanks for joining us as we explore ’10 Steps to Land Startup Investment’ micro course.

We’ve narrowed down ten steps you can take to get a head start on your competitors. In this course you will get one new lesson a day for 10 days with tips and expert insights on how to land that much needed investment capital.

More people are quitting their jobs and starting their own startups or profit for purpose businesses. But competition for startup investment is tough! You can find plenty of positive news stories of how company X raised $$$ Millions and how company Z secured high profile investor Y.

What you don't hear is the companies and founders that failed to raise capital, or worse even, connect with investors.

We have seen it all over the last 5 years, and have helped our clients raise millions in capital, we too have had a few that didn't become successful, so we have real first hand experience to share and support you.

Let's get started, here is a taste of lesson 1.

1. Be Committed and Confident

Investors like to know that the person asking for funding is 100% committed to the business. To demonstrate this you may need to share some of your story, whether that is how you’ve built an extensive network by attending every networking event available, or how you’ve quit your high paying job to pursue your big idea.

Showing that you are serious about your business and dedicated to working hard. This will build confidence with your potential investor as you respond to queries or requests immediately.

As an activity, try practicing your elevator pitch or high level overview of your business model.
