Federation University partners with Social Innovator One10 Group to deliver a Social Enterprise Accelerator program in Gippsland.

The emerging Social Enterprise sector in the Latrobe Valley and Gippsland region is set to get a major boost from a new social enterprise accelerator program being delivered at the $17 million dollar Federation University Morwell Innovation Centre.

The 12-week program called ‘Acceleration for Social Enterprise’ will be delivered by leading Social Innovation organisation One10 Group in partnership with Federation University Morwell Innovation Centre and support the further development of the social enterprise sector and enterprises across the region.

Now with the world looking very different due to Covid-19, they made the decision to take all programs 100% virtual. As a positive result One10 can now offer their programs internationally and to regional and remote communities that have not been able to access the programs before.

Fantastic to see former One10 client LeafCann Group announce that it’s South Australian medicinal cannabis facility has received ‘Major Project Status’ from the Australian Government. Major Project Status is defined as “the Australian Government’s recognition of the national significance of a project – for economic growth, employment or for regional Australia”. LeafCann’s project applies to all three categories.
